The most important aim at East Sussex Equine Therapy is to bring together people and horses in a safe environment with positive results.
Directors Steph Dudson and Charlotte Dudson. Steph and Charlotte are hands on directors working full time at East Sussex Equine Therapy Centre. They have many years of experience working with Horses/ponies and as educators.
Owed and competed horses since she was 12 years old. Qualified as a teacher (B.Ed Hons) in 1982 and taught within the state system for 23 years.
She has 3 children all of whom have dyslexia so she knows the struggles and frustrations special needs children face at school.
She believes strongly in the benefits of alternative therapies and how they can support people in improving their lives.
Her whole life has been about horses! She started riding lessons at 6 years old and so the love affair began.
She studied for an Apprenticeship in Horse Care and Mangement in 2008 at Plumpton College. She then took teaching qualifications so she could combine working with horses and people.
2011 she achieved her Preparing to Teach in the Life Long Sector (PTTLS) which enabled her to teach adults.
2012 she achieved her Teaching Assistant L3 with a focus on Special needs children.
